RAIN OR SHINE THEATRE COMPANY

 

After torrential rain at last year’s performance, we were extremely pleased to be able to enjoy Rain or Shine Theatre Company’s production of Much Ado About Nothing on 15th June in near perfect weather conditions!  A wonderful performance yet again, in the beautiful garden at Shepherd’s Meadow, Lower Eaton.  Congratulations to Team Hitchiner for winning ‘The Best Dressed Table’, a huge thank you to John and Lara Williams for welcoming us all to their home and to everyone who came along to support us and enabling us to raise £556 for ongoing maintenance of our Church.

 

CURRY AND QUIZ

 

Another very successful Curry and Quiz took place in Eaton Bishop on 7th July with nearly 50 people taking part.  Thank you to Rosie Robinson and Chrissie Atwell for compiling and delivering the quiz, to all the village cooks for providing curries, rice, naan bread, sag aloo and raita and to all who came along and supported us.  We are very pleased to announce that £297 was raised which will be split equally between Eaton Bishop Church and Village Hall.  The next Curry and Quiz will take place on Saturday, 1st September at 7.00 pm in Eaton Bishop Village Hall.  Just turn up for a fun-packed evening.
